Born in the picturesque northern city of Cremona in 1987, Chiara Ferragni is the eldest of three daughters in the Ferragni family. Her father, Marco Ferragni, is a dentist hailing from Cremona, while her mother, Marina Di Guardo, is an Italian writer originally from Sicily.

Marina also contributed her talents to the fashion industry as the deputy director of the esteemed Blumarine fashion house. From a young age, Chiara’s exposure to both the medical and creative worlds through her parents likely played a role in shaping her diverse interests and career trajectory.

As the daughter of a dentist and a fashion industry professional, Chiara inherited a blend of analytical thinking and artistic flair, which she later translated into her successful career in the fashion and blogging spheres.

At the age of 16, Chiara took her first steps into the world of modeling when she was hired by the Beatrice model agency in Milan, Italy. Although she modeled for a few years, Chiara decided to shift her focus, expressing a desire to pursue other goals in her life. This decision marked the beginning of her journey into the world of entrepreneurship and digital influence.

In October 2009, Chiara, along with her ex-boyfriend Riccardo Pozzoli, founded the iconic fashion blog “The Blonde Salad.” This platform became a launching pad for Chiara’s influential presence in the fashion industry.

Despite being a law student at Bocconi University in December 2011, Chiara was already recognized as the Blogger of the Moment by Teen Vogue. Although she hadn’t obtained her university degree as of 2016, Chiara Ferragni’s impact on the fashion world far surpassed the confines of a traditional academic path.
