Chevan Cordeiro, a quarterback for the San Jose State Spartans in American football, was born on October 1, 1999. He once performed for the University of Hawaii. Against Wyoming in 2018, Cordeiro earned his first career start in place of the injured Cole McDonald.

In a 17-13 victory that saw Hawaii retake the Paniolo Trophy, he completed 19 of his 29 throws for 148 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception that was returned for another score. Additionally, he participated in contests with Louisiana Tech, UNLV, and Nevada.

Cordeiro led Hawaii to a 35-28 victory in his game against UNLV by throwing three touchdown passes on four completions. In place of a struggling McDonald with the team trailing 28-13 in the fourth quarter, Cordeiro came off the bench and completed 4 of 5 passes for 153 yards and three touchdowns.
