Rony Rogoff is a violinist and conductor from Israel. He was born in Israel in 1945 and currently resides in New York.
His father, who was a founding member of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, was his first teacher. He studied at the Juilliard School in New York and Switzerland with Hungarian violinist Joseph Szigeti.

Rogoff has appeared as a soloist with orchestras in Philadelphia, San Francisco, Paris, Madrid, Tokyo, Manila, Caracas, Copenhagen, Stuttgart, and Munich.
Rogoff’s long-time friend and mentor Sergiu Celibidache once described him as “the best Mozart player in existence.”
Cherie Gil was dubbed “La Primera Contravida” (“The Prime Villain”) for her acting prowess, which landed her in numerous antagonistic roles throughout her nearly 50-year career.
Cherie Gil passed away on August 5, 2022, after a battle with cancer.
