Chasten Buttigieg and his husband Pete have two children together. They are Joseph August Buttigieg and Penelope Rose Buttigieg.

Pete announced the birth of their children on his Twitter page on September 4, 2021. Because the children are still babies, there isn’t much information about them.

Chasten and his husband have been married since 2018, The couple put their South Bend, Indiana home on the market for sale and they now live in a one-bedroom apartment in Washington’s Capitol Hill neighbourhood with their dogs.

In 2020, after narrowly winning the Iowa caucuses, Chasten’s husband became the first gay presidential candidate to win a primary contest.
