Munger’s dedication to education was evident through his significant contributions to various institutions. In 2007, Munger made a generous $3 million gift to the University of Michigan Law School for lighting improvements, emphasizing his commitment to creating conducive learning environments.

Subsequently, in 2011, he contributed a staggering $20 million towards the renovation of the Lawyers Club housing complex at the Law School. This substantial donation covered the majority of the $39 million cost and resulted in the renaming of the renovated Lawyers Club to the Charles T. Munger Residences in the Lawyers Club.
