Charles Lee (basketball) Parents: Meet his Mother and Father

Charles Lee is an American former professional basketball player and National Basketball Association (NBA) assistant coach for the Boston Celtics.

He is the son of Charles Lee Sr. However details about his mother are not public knowledge. Coach Lee Jr. was born in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Charles Lee was hired as the Boston Celtics’ top assistant coach on June 11, 2023, according to reports. Lee began his coaching career at Bucknell University (2012-14) before moving on to the Atlanta Hawks (2014-18) and the Milwaukee Bucks.

Lee played for and graduated from Bucknell University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in business management. He finished his college career at Bucknell with 1,147 career points (11.0 ppg), 568 rebounds (5.5 rpg) and 167 steals (1.61 spg).

Charles Lee went undrafted in the 2006 NBA draft but was later signed on a multi-year contract by the San Antonio Spurs on September 6, 2006. The Spurs later waived his contract on October 26, 2006.

He spent the majority of his professional career in Israel and Europe as a 6’3″ guard. Charles Lee announced his retirement from basketball in 2010.
