She is the current undisputed light-welterweight champion.
Born in Northampton, Cameron was first introduced to combat sports through kickboxing at the age of 10. When she turned 16, Cameron proceed to Muay Thai.
After a successful amateur career, in which she remained undefeated and won titles in the IKF and WAKO, she switch to boxing aged 18.
In her boxing career, Cameron has won two English women’s national boxing championships; the ABA in 2010 and the ABAE in 2015.

In November 2022, she beat Jessica McCaskill to become the undisputed junior welterweight champion.
Based on that victory, Chantelle became England’s first-ever female undisputed professional boxing champion.
Chantelle Cameron is set to fight Katie Taylor on May 20, 2023, at 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
