Chaim David Bloom is an American sports executive. He and his wife Aliza Hochman have two sons, Isaiah and Judah.

Chaim David Bloom most recently worked as Chief Baseball Officer for the Major League Baseball (MLB) Boston Red Sox before being fired on September 14, 2023.

He previously served as Senior Vice President of Baseball Operations for the Tampa Bay Rays. Bloom graduated from Yale College in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Latin Classics, where he was a member of The Society of Orpheus and Bacchus.
Chaim Bloom’s first foray into baseball was a 1997 essay in Baseball Prospectus, which he continued to write for until he joined the Rays. Prior to joining the Rays, he interned for the San Diego Padres as a baseball operations intern and for Major League Baseball as a legal/corporate partnerships intern.
