Cédric Doumbé is a former two-time Glory Welterweight Champion in kickboxing. For numerous years, Combat Press and other organizations named Doumbé as the world’s top welterweight.

Combat Press and Liver Kick recognized him Fighter of the Year in 2016. Doumbé announced his retirement from kickboxing on October 3, 2021, at an Empire Fight event in France, and his transition to MMA.
On November 16, 2021, Glory declared the welterweight title vacant. Doumbé signed a two-year contract with the Professional Fighters League (PFL) on May 10, 2023, after being approached by numerous big organizations, including the UFC.
Doumbé eventually made his PFL debut against Jordan Zébo in the main event of PFL Europe 3 on September 30, 2023.
