Meet Christian Vadim

Christian Vadim, born on June 18, 1963, is the son of Catherine Deneuve and Roger Vadim. Making his film debut in 1983 in the film “Surprise Party,” where he worked alongside his father, Vadim showcased early promise.

His career further blossomed with roles in films like Éric Rohmer’s “Full Moon in Paris” in 1984. Over the years, Christian Vadim collaborated with his mother in notable projects, including the film “Time Regained” in 1999, directed by Raúl Ruiz. Their on-screen chemistry continued with films like “Love Torn in a Dream” (2000), “Savage Souls” (2001), “A Place Among the Living” (2003), “That Day” (2003), and “Night Across the Street” (2012).

Meet Chiara Mastroianni

Chiara Mastroianni, born on May 28, 1972, is Deneuve’s daughter from her relationship with Marcello Mastroianni. Following in her mother’s footsteps, Chiara earned a César Award nomination for her debut feature film appearance in André Téchiné’s “My Favorite Season” (1993), where she shared the screen with her mother.

Chiara’s versatility as an actress shone through with roles in films like “Prêt-à-Porter” (1994), directed by Robert Altman, and “Le Journal du séducteur” (1995), where she starred opposite Melvil Poupaud.

In addition to her contributions to French cinema, Chiara Mastroianni ventured into international projects, such as Gregg Araki’s “Nowhere” (1997) and Manoel de Oliveira’s “The Letter” (1999), based on Madame de La Fayette’s novel.
