Cassper Nyovest Slams Organizers Of South African Music Awards, Calls Them Corrupt

South African Rapper, Cassper Nyovest, has lamented the changing culture of the South African Music Awards.

He lamented how the processes involved in the music awards have been rigged. In his tweet, he indicated that some musicians are not interested in the awards due to the high level of corruption in the industry. Cassper considered the South African Music Awards to be a dead one considering the decrement in its level of interest on the part of the musicians.

Recall he disclosed how happy he feels to be a dropout since that has blessed him with much success. According to him, he is happy he didn’t listen to any of the advice given to him on education. This is because that has given his dream the chance to come through.

“Do people even remember who won the SAMAs last year? That used to be the biggest and most important award for artists. Now it doesnt mean anything. You know why? Corruption, they thought they were bigger than the artists. They disconnected from the culture. It’s all rigged. Dead!”
