Carson Soucy is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman who currently plays for the Seattle Kraken of the National Hockey League.

He was drafted 137th overall by the Minnesota Wild in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
Soucy was born on July 27, 1994, to Debbie in Viking, Alberta. Soucy grew raised in Irma, Alberta.
His father, Mike Soucy, used to play softball.
Soucy’s older brother Tyson also played ice hockey, most recently for the Elk Point Elks in the SaskAlta Senior Hockey League.

Growing up in Alberta, Soucy competed at the Triple-A midget level until he was 18 before being cut from the Western Hockey League’s Edmonton Oil Kings.
