Carrie Underwood had an accident that left her with scars. According to Underwood, the accident happened in November 2017 while she was walking her two dogs before going to bed. “I was clumsy and tripped, so I grabbed the dog leashes with my left hand and tried to save myself with my right, but I missed the step.” I would have been perfectly OK if I had fallen anywhere else.”

Underwood acknowledged that she knew she had hurt her lip and hand, but she was taken aback when she saw the full extent of her injuries in the mirror, which included a chipped tooth and skin damage around her mouth that required 40 to 50 stitches. Her right wrist was broken as well.

During her interview with Bobby Bones, Underwood admitted that she had no idea how things would turn out or whether her face would heal properly she still has a scar, but it isn’t visible while she is wearing makeup.
