Carolyn Mackenzie Rheumatoid Arthritis: Does Carolyn Mackenzie have rheumatoid arthritis?

Canadian television presenter, Carolyn Mackenzie once shared on her Facebook page that she has a form of arthritis called Anklylosing Spondylitis.

“Just found out I have rheumatoid arthritis. Anyone with RA that can recommend effective remedies? (I’m seeing a specialist in a few weeks who I’m sure will provide me more answers),” she wrote in a post.

She was interviewed by Vista Magazine Canada and she shared how vulnerable she felt.

“Thank you @vistamagcanada for the chat@ We spoke when I was in the midst of one of my many flare-ups this summer, and anyone with RA knows what that’s like, so I was feeling a little vulnerable! Anyway, here’s to better days, better health, and to mamas putting their health first,” she shared.

In the interview, she shared that being diagnosed with the disease while in her 40s has been difficult.

“It has been quit tough. But at the same time, not as quickly as I’d like. I’m still a mom, I still work full-time and typically put the rest of my family’s priorities ahead of mine. I need to change that and I’m now trying to figure out my body and how it works because right now it’s failing me and I need to get it working better,” she said.
