Late media personality, Caroline Jones was married during her lifetime but the marriage ended in a divorce.

There are no information about Jones’ ex-husband. Jones had also disclosed some time in 2013 that she had no intentions to have kids.

Jones was a Roman Catholic Christian. She fell badly and died while at home in May 2022. She was aged 84.

Jones was born on January 1, 1938. She was a TV and radio presenter for over 50 years and won several awards in local and international media categories.

Jones began her walk in the media industry with “This Day Tonight” on Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) in Canberra. She was the first female presenter on the show as far back as 1963.

Jones was a popular face and voice on shows like Four Corners, and The Search For Meaning, both on radio and television.

The weekly programme, Australian Story was presented by Jones on ABC television in 1996.

Jones resigned from her role as Australian Story presenter on ABC Television in December 2016.
