Caroline Flack Death: How did Caroline Flack pass away?

Caroline Louise Flack, an English actress and television and radio presenter was discovered dead in her flat in Stoke Newington, London, on February 15, 2020. She was 40 years old.

Her death, according to the lawyer representing her family, was a suicide. It was reported that she took her own life after learning prosecutors would press ahead with the charge over an incident involving her boyfriend, Lewis Burton.

The inquest into her death began on February 19 2020.  After a two-day hearing, the coroner determined that Flack’s death was a suicide on August 6.

On March 10 2020, Flack’s private funeral took place at Greenacres Memorial Park in Colney, near Norwich.

On the anniversary of her death in February 2021, artist Scott Wilcock painted a mural of Flack on a wall in Wigan as a tribute. It featured a quote by author Jennifer Dukes Lee that Flack had requoted, “In a world where you can be anything, be kind”.

Following Flack’s death, Lisa Nandy, a British Labour Party MP, blamed social media platforms for failing to prevent harassment and bullying.

Stephanie Davis, Flack’s friend, started a petition to establish new laws for “protecting celebrities and people in the public eye,” which garnered over 500,000 signatures in a week.
