Carlos Basham Jr., an outside linebacker for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL), was born on December 16, 1997. He attended Wake Forest during his college football career before being selected by the Buffalo Bills in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Basham played in all 13 of Wake Forest’s games in 2017 after redshirting his freshman year in 2016. He recorded 24 tackles. In 2018, as a junior, he recorded 64 tackles and 4.5 sacks. 2019 will mark Basham’s return to Wake Forest as a starter. Basham declared on December 21, 2019, that he would return to college for his final year in 2020. The Buffalo Bills selected Basham in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft (61st overall).
