Carli Lloyd Husband: Meet Brian Hollins

Brian Hollins is a golfer and the husband of Carli Lloyd, an American former professional soccer player.

According to The Knot, the couple who are high school sweethearts got married on Friday, November 4, 2016 in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, in front of 75 of their closest friends and family members.

Carli wore a strapless gown from couture bridal designer Matthew Christopher’s fall 2016 collection, according to the site. The couple lives in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.

Brian was the assistant golf pro at Trenton Country Club in New Jersey in 2016, according to Golf, and he previously worked at Willow Brook Country Club and Laurel Creek Country Club. He also qualified for the 2015 U.S. Open at Chambers Bay via local qualifying at Laurel Creek Country Club, but fell short of the cut.

Carli and Brian have undoubtedly competed in some way over their long-term relationship because they are both sports enthusiasts. In a Sports Illustrated interview, Brian stated that Carlie is “by far the most competitive person I know.”

Carlie responded in the interview. “It gets heated, we’ll lay each other out,” she added. ““You know, it’s fun, we get to banter, we get to be outside the relationship lovey-dove type of thing and go battle.”
