“When I was growing up, I played a lot of guitars and sang, and for a long time, that’s what I thought I was going to do. Then I started doing more acting, but it’s definitely a massive passion of mine where I feel safe and comfortable and fulfilled.”

Jonah Hauer-King’s first lead role was in Danny Huston’s The Last Photograph, which premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
He starred as Andrius Aras in the film Ashes in the Snow (2018), opposite Bel Powley and Paul Wilcox in Howard’s End, and as David in Postcards from London (2018).

Jonah played Mallowan in the 2019 film Agatha and the Curse of Ishtar. King was cast as Prince Eric in the upcoming live-action film adaptation of The Little Mermaid on November 12, 2019. He has since been cast in Sky’s new adaptation of The Tattooist of Auschwitz as the lead character Lale.
