The couple embarked on their journey together when they exchanged vows in 2011, officially becoming partners in life. Their love story has its roots in the University of Alabama-Huntsville, where Cam Talbot was pursuing his hockey dreams.

Kelly, a Dallas, Texas native, was introduced to the world of goaltending through her brother, Tommy Train, who happened to be Talbot’s former teammate.

“I always say to myself, ‘Why’s he got to be a goalie? Why’d I marry a goalie,’” Kelly humorously shared with The Athletic, emphasizing the unique challenges and quirks that come with being married to a goaltender, often considered the last line of defense on the hockey rink.
In October 2016, the couple welcomed twins into their lives, marking a momentous occasion and bringing an additional layer of joy to their marriage. As Cam continues to make crucial saves for the Los Angeles Kings, he undoubtedly finds strength and support in the partnership he shares with Kelly.
