Caelan Doris is an Irish professional rugby union player who plays as number eight for the United Rugby Championship side Leinster and the Ireland national team.

His first rugby involvement was with Ballina. From the age of 12, he attended boarding school at Blackrock College in Dublin, where he was a part of the winning Leinster Schools Rugby Senior Cup squad in 2014 and captain of the 2016 team.
Doris was promoted to Leinster’s senior squad two years early ahead of the 2018-19 season, after only one year in the academy and having made his senior debut the previous season, after a string of excellent performances captaining the Ireland Under-20s.
