C.J. Moore Parents: Meet His Father and Mother

C.J. Moore is an American football player who currently plays in the National Football League (NFL) as a safety for the Detroit Lions.

CJ Moore was born on December 15, 1995, in Bassfield, Mississippi. He is the son of Alvin and Monica Moore.

CJ Moore’s family owns a chicken farm. He has not said much about his parents but he has always mentioned how supportive they’ve been.

CJ Moore signed as an undrafted free agent with the Detroit Lions on May 10, 2019. On September 8, 2019, he made his NFL debut against the Arizona Cardinals. Moore appeared in all 16 Lions games as a rookie, recording seven tackles.

In 2021, Moore entered his second NFL season and became a more prominent player on the Lions’ defence, starting in 11 games and playing in all 17 games. He finished the season with 62 tackles, 4 passes defended, and 1 interception

Moore re-signed with the Lions on March 14, 2022. On August 30, 2022, he was waived/injured and placed on injured reserve. Moore signed a two-year contract extension with the Lions on March 18, 2023.
