American songwriter and record producer, Burt Bacharach did not suffer from any illness. Even if he did, he did not make it public. He has been reported dead and according to sources, he died of natural causes. He was 94 years at the time of death.

Bacharach became popular after he partnered with lyricist Hal David to release their song The Story of My Life. The song became the number 1 hit song on the U.S Country Chart in 1957. He then made Magic Moments which was recorded by Perry Como for RCA Record. The song also reached No. 4 in the U.S. The two songs then became back-to-back No. 1 singles in the UK .
Bacharach and David also wrote several songs for singer, Donnie Warwick which made them a very successful team. Their songs topped the charts and broke several records. They sold over 12 million copies of their songs worldwide. However, they had a misunderstanding and parted ways, but reunited in 1985.

“We realized we were more than just friends. We were family. Time has a way of giving people the opportunity to grow and understand… Working with Burt is not a bit different from how it used to be. He expects me to deliver and I can. He knows what I’m going to do before I do it, and that same with me. That’s how intertwined we’ve been,” Warwick said after they reunited.
