Saka arrived at St George’s Park earlier in the week with an injury and has been unable to take part in training sessions.

As a result, he has returned to Arsenal for further rehabilitation. This setback is significant for England manager Gareth Southgate, as Saka has been a pivotal player for the team since making his debut in 2020.

With no additional replacements anticipated, the 25-man England squad continues their preparation for the upcoming matches against Brazil and Belgium.

Saka has been in remarkable form for Arsenal this season, netting a total of 16 goals, with 13 of them coming in the Premier League.

He has also solidified his position as a crucial member of the England squad, having scored 11 goals in 32 appearances for his country.
