Buaben Asamoa, a prominent figure within the Movement for Change (M4C), has declared John Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen as the presidential candidate for the Alliance for Revolutionary Change (ARC) in the upcoming December 7 general elections.

Asamoa made this endorsement during an interview on Accra-based Citi-FM on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
The ARC, established to unite various significant political entities, organizations, and individuals, officially launched its collaboration on the same day in Accra.
Under this alliance, John Alan Kyerematen will represent the collective as its presidential candidate, while still maintaining his position as the founder and leader of the Movement for Change.

Buaben Asamoa highlighted the collaborative nature of the alliance, emphasizing that each member retains its identity while working towards shared objectives.
He stated, “The Alliance has endorsed Mr. Alan Kyerematen as the presidential candidate. The ARC is a grouping and it is still open for many others to join…Nobody is losing their core identities, however, they all subscribe to the ideals of the ARC…Mr. Kyerematen will be the candidate of the alliance but would campaign as the leader and founder for M4C.”
