During an interview with Essence, Bryson Tiller was asked how he strives to achieve a balance between music and fatherhood and this is what he had to say.

“I’m actually still struggling with that actually right now,” Tiller confides. “I think setting is everything for me. When I’m in somewhere like New York or California, where it’s a lot going on all the time, I don’t know, but like I have a lot going on so, it’s hard for me to balance fatherhood.”
“Whenever I’m with my kids, I just try to be extremely present because I know those little moments will mean more than doing it consistently for two weeks or whatever it is.”
“I just try to take those days with my kids one at a time, and then when it comes to music, I try to focus. I’m in the studio whenever I’m in the studio. Then, when I’m with my children, I’m with my children – I don’t think about anything else,” he added.
