Bryn Hargreaves was reported missing in Cheat Lake, West Virginia, in January 2022, where he was last seen.
Following his disappearance, a massive search was launched in Morgantown, West Virginia, led by police and tracker dogs.
His family hired a private investigator to look into Hargreaves’ disappearance because they suspected he had been kidnapped.
Bryn Hargreaves’ body was discovered 14 months after he was reported missing, in March 2023, according to his family.

Bryn Hargraves began his professional career in 2004 with Wigan Warriors. After a loan spell at Leigh Centurions, he went on to play for St Helens and Bradford Bulls.
During his time playing for St Helens, he won the 2008 Challenge Cup. After making 175 appearances in the top flight, he decided to retire from the game. At 26, Hargreaves made the move to the States to work in the oil and gas industry.
