Bruno Valdez is a right-footed defender capable of playing as both a centre-back and a right-back.

Valdez developed a passion for football at an early age.

He made his professional debut with Sol de América. However, his big break came in July 2014 when he was sold to Cerro Porteño, one of Paraguay’s most prominent football clubs.

His time at Cerro Porteño was marked by success, as he played a crucial role in helping the team secure the Apertura championship in 2015.

In 2016, Valdez’s talents earned him a move to Club América in the Mexican Liga MX.

In 2023, Valdez added another chapter to his football journey when he signed a 3-year contract with Boca Juniors.

On the international front, Valdez joined the provisional 30-man roster for the Paraguay national football team in 2015 to compete at the 2015 Copa América.
