Bruno is married to his girlfriend named Bruna Alvim. They got married in 2008. The couple welcomed their first son, Noah, in 2015. Bruna Alvim is an architect. Not much is known about Bruna aside from her marriage to Bruno.

Bruno is a six-time Grand Slam champion, having won the Australian Open and US Open in 2016 with Jamie Murray, as well as the 2020 US Open in men’s doubles with Mate Pavi.
Soares won the US Open in 2012 with Ekaterina Makarova, the 2014 US Open with Sania Mirza, and the 2016 Australian Open with Elena Vesnina in mixed doubles.
He also finished second in men’s doubles at the 2013 US Open and 2020 French Open, as well as mixed doubles in the 2013 Wimbledon Championships

In October 2016, he attained his career-high doubles ranking of No. 2 in the world, and he has 35 ATP Tour championships to his credit, including four Masters 1000 titles.
His best singles rating was world No. 221, which he earned in March 2004. Soares has been a member of the Brazilian Davis Cup team since 2005, and he has competed in the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games.
