Midfielder for Houston Dynamo Brooklyn Raines was born to his mother, Susie Raines, and his father whose name is currently undisclosed.

His parents hail from Liberia, but had moved to the United States before Raines turned five.

Brooklyn Raines began playing soccer at age five. During his early years, he had trained with Inter FC Chicago, and the Barça Residency Academy.
The Liberian-born player now plays as a midfielder for Major League Soccer club Houston Dynamo, and the United States national under-19 team.

Raines made his senior career debut in 2021 with the American soccer team El Paso Locomotive, where he made three appearances.
In 2022, he was signed to Houston Dynamo 2, and went on to make 16 appearances, scoring one goal for the club.
He became the youngest player in the history of Dynamo to appear in a U.S. Open Cup game.
On the international front, Raines made his debut for the United States U17 & U19 teams in 2022.
