Born and raised in Perth, Australia, Kostecki inherited his love for the sport from his father, Andrew Kostecki, who himself was involved in drag racing for many years.

Andrew’s influence on Brodie’s early years is undeniable. From the tender age of 4, Brodie was already behind the wheel, driving go-karts under the guidance of his father.

The bond between father and son grew stronger as they shared the thrill of racing and nurtured Brodie’s talent on the track.

As Brodie’s ambitions outgrew the local circuit, the Kostecki family made a bold decision to relocate to the United States, where opportunities for advancement in motorsport were more abundant.

Together with his mother and two sisters, Brodie embarked on a transcontinental journey to pursue his racing dreams.

Settling in Mooresville, North Carolina, the heart of NASCAR country, the Kostecki family dedicated themselves wholeheartedly to Brodie’s career.

Living in a mobile trailer initially, they made sacrifices to support Brodie’s passion, eventually securing a home with a workshop where they could fine-tune Brodie’s racing machines.

In the United States, Brodie transitioned to the United States Auto Club series, where he quickly made a name for himself.

His success in USAC, including a record-breaking number of wins for a driver his age, paved the way for his entry into NASCAR competition.

Brodie’s NASCAR journey saw him make his mark in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, driving for his own team, Team Arcoplate Racing, and competing in other series like the ARCA Menards Series East.

Despite his achievements in American motorsport, Brodie eventually returned to Australia, where he continued to pursue his racing career.

In the Repco Supercars Championship, Brodie found success driving a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Erebus Motorsport, culminating in a championship win in 2023.
