Robinson Jr. was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on March 22, 1999, to Brian Robinson Sr. and Kimberly Little.

Brian Robinson was selected by the Commanders in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Robinson made his NFL debut in the 2022 season in Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans, rushing nine times for 22 yards in a 21-17 loss for the Commanders.
