He graduated from Wichita Northwest High School. After rushing for 2,082 yards and scoring 36 total touchdowns in his junior season, Hall was selected first-team All-Metro and first-team All-State.
Breece Hall attended Iowa State University and played football. Hall carried for more than 100 yards in eight consecutive games to begin his sophomore season.
He finished the season with 1,572 yards on 279 carries and 21 rushing touchdowns, while also receiving 23 passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns.

Hall was named first-team All-Big 12 and the conference’s Offensive Player of the Year, becoming the school’s first unanimous All-American. Hall completed as a junior in 2021 with 1,472 running yards, 302 receiving yards, and 23 total touchdowns.
The New York Jets selected Hall in the second round with the 36th overall choice in the 2022 NFL draft. making him the first running back chosen that year.
Hall made his NFL debut against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1 of the 2022 season. In Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns, he scored his first career touchdown on a ten-yard reception from quarterback Joe Flacco.
