Brandel Chamblee was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on July 2, 1962, to his parents whose names are unknown.

Brandel Chamblee is a former American golfer, commentator and writer.
Brandel was professional golfer as far back as 1985.
He lead first round at the 1999 Masters Tournament and between 1995 and 2001, was amongst the top earners on the PGA Tour.

Brandel bagged his first degree in Speech Communication from the University of Texas.

After he lost his PGA Tour card in 2003, he took up a career in Sports Commentary. He then began working as studio analyst, covering major games for the Golf Channel, Golf Central and its “Live From”.
Brandel has been inducted into the Irving Independent School District Hall of Fame.
He is a father of four children – Brandel Jr., Brennen, Braeden, and Bergen – with his ex-wife Karen.
His son Braeden, died at infancy.
Brandel is currently married to Bailey Chamblee.
