Tammie McFarland and Booger McFarland tied the knot in 2008 in Dallas County, Texas, United States. Booger McFarland graduated from Louisiana State University in 1999 with a degree in business management.

McFarland played for the LSU Tigers football team from 1995 to 1998. Booger McFarland finished his freshman season with 73 tackles including 12 tackles for loss and 2 quarterback sacks.

Following the end of his football career, Booger McFarland joined the SEC Network in 2014 as a football analyst. McFarland was a part-time guest analyst on ESPN’s Mike & Mike morning program.

Booger McFarland was an analyst for Monday Night Football in 2018 and 2019. He subsequently joined as a pregame analyst on Monday Night Countdown in 2020.
