The body of a three-year-old girl, Taslima Labaran, was found lifeless in Dagombaline, Asokore Mampong Municipality of the Ashanti Region, after she had been missing for three days. Her tongue was notably missing.

The grim discovery was made by children playing football near a building housing police officers. They stumbled upon the body while retrieving their ball from the top floor of the building, which was undergoing renovation after a recent fire incident.
Taslima Labaran’s disappearance had caused great distress, with her mother, Rukaya Muntari, frantically searching for her and lodging an official complaint with the police.
