Davro’s father, Bill, was a British athlete known for winning the AAA mile title four times in five years between 1948 and 1952.
Bill had the best recorded time of 4:08.8 as of 1949.
He died on January 8, 2021, at age 95.
Janette Nankeville
Janette was Davro’s mother. She was married to Bill and they were blessed with three grandchildren.

Davro became a popular face on Saturday night on ITV, Bobby Davro on the Box, Bobby Davro’s TV Annual and Bobby Davro’s TV Weekly.
As an actor, Davro played Vinnie Monks in the soap opera EastEnders, and in 2009, he appeared on Channel 4’s Come Dine with Me.
He also took part in Dancing on Ice, and appeared in Your Face Sounds Familiar, pantomime, Big Brother, Britain’s Got Talent, and I’m a Celebrity.
Davro additionally made guest appearances on Rainbow, Bungle, Zippy, George and Geoffrey.
In 2006, he was selected as a judge on the Channel 5 show All Star Talent Show.
