Bob McGrath Wife: Meet Ann Logan Sperry

Ann Logan Sperry was the wife of Bob McGrath, a children’s author, singer, and actor from the United States.

Bob McGrath and his wife Ann first met in New York City, where Mcgrath was finishing his master’s degree in voice.

The couple got married in 1958. They had five children, five granddaughters, and three grandsons. The couple resided in Teaneck, New Jersey from 1958 until 2017 when they moved to a ranch in Norwood, New Jersey.

The couple had a wonderful relationship, and Ann is a year older than Mcgrath; they had been married for over 60 years.

McGrath, was best known for his role as the original human character Bob Johnson on Sesame Street, a long-running educational television series.

His final series appearance was in 2017, but McGrath’s association with the show did not end there, as he continued to make public appearances at “Sesame Street”-related events.

Bob McGrath died on Sunday, December 4, 2022. He was 90. His death was announced by family members on social media: “He died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family.
