Bob Hope was 100 years old when he passed away on July 27, 2003. He had suffered from pneumonia.

Just few years after fully retiring from the red carpet, Hope was treated for gastrointestinal bleeding.

Bob Hope was a veteran entertainer who rocked the entertainment industry for over 80 years, across comedy, acting, singing, boxing and producing.
The British-born appeared in over 70 films, stage productions and television series.
Hope wrote 14 books during his lifetime, and hosted the Academy Awards about 19 times.

Hope entertained military personnel around the world by making several tours for the United Service Organizations (USO).
In 1997, he was named an honorary veteran of the Armed Forces.
As a boxer, Hope had a boxing record of 3 wins and a loss. Hope was also a part owner of the Riverside International Raceway in Moreno Valley, California.
