Bo Nix Parents: Meet Patrick Nix And Krista Chapman

Football quarterback for the Oregon Ducks, Bo Nix, was born to his parents Patrick Nix and Krista Chapman.

Patrick Nix

Patrick Nix is a former footballer and current football coach for Phenix City Central High School.

Patrick played football as a quarterback while he attended Auburn University and has been head coach at Henderson State University.

In 2010, the wide receivers hired him to train the team at Charleston Southern.

After Charleston, he went on to coach at Scottsboro High School and Pinson Valley High School, before he was hired by Phenix City Central in 2020.

Krista Chapman

Bo Nix’s mum, Krista, has three other children for her husband – Emma Grace Davis, Sara Nix and Caleb Nix, who plays football for the Clemson Tigers.

Bo Nix Career

Nix had played with the Auburn Tigers before he was transferred to the Ducks.

Nix played football in Pinson Valley High School, in Pinson, Alabama, and recorded at total of 12,000 offensive yards and 161 touchdowns.

After his senior season, he was named Alabama’s Mr. Football.

In 2018, he was named USA Today All-American and the following year, he won the
SEC Freshman of the Year award.

While in Auburn, Nix played as starting quarterback in his freshman season, leading his team to a 27–21 come-back win against the Oregon Ducks in 2019.

In 2021, he played at the Citrus Bowl games, and in 2022, he was transferred to the Oregon Ducks.

Nix stands at 6 ft 2 in (1.88 m) tall and weighs 213 lb (97 kg).
