Bison Dele was an American professional basketball player who played centre for the NBA’s Orlando Magic, Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers, Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons.

Bison Dele was the son of Patricia Phillips and Eugene Williams His father was a singer of the musical group The Platters. However, his parents later divorced.
Patricia Phillips remarried and raised her two sons in Fresno until Brian was in junior high. He was of African and Cherokee ancestry.
Bison Dele attended Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a junior. In his senior year, he averaged 17.3 points, 12.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 2.5 steals, and 9.1 blocks per game while shooting 57.7% from the field.

His collegiate basketball career began at the University of Maryland, where he played for one year before transferring to the University of Arizona and sitting out the following season.
After two seasons at Arizona, Williams was selected by the Orlando Magic with the tenth pick in the first round of the 1991 NBA Draft. During his two seasons in Orlando, he saw limited action.
