However, he is perhaps best known for his role on the 1998 championship-winning Chicago Bulls team, which was led by Michael Jordan and featured other star players like Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman.
Bison Dele played a key role in the Bulls’ championship run, providing valuable minutes off the bench and playing tough defence against some of the best players in the league.
In 2002, Dele retired from the NBA at the age of 33, citing a desire to explore other interests. Unfortunately, his life took a tragic turn soon after his retirement.
In July of 2002, Dele, his girlfriend, and his brother all disappeared while on a sailing trip in the South Pacific. The yacht they were travelling on was later found abandoned, and Dele and his girlfriend were presumed dead.
