American musician Billie Eilish has disclosed the reason behind why she has multiple unread texts on her phone.

According to the ‘What Was I Made For?’ singer, she currently has over 2,000 unread texts on her phone.
Last year, during an interview with Vanity Fair, the 21-year-old pop star revealed that she had over 1,400 unread texts when asked how she manages to “quiet the noise” surrounding any public discourse about her.

During a recent interview with BBC Sounds hosted by Lily Allen and Miquita Oliver, Eilish disclosed that the number of unread messages has increased to 1,993, and she has still not opened them.
“I have 1,993 unread texts. I want to respond, I want to do whatever somebody is saying or asking of me, and I just don’t. I see it, or sometimes I don’t even see it, but sometimes I see it and I’m like, ‘Hold on, let me do this thing first,’ and then I just never do it,” she explained.
