Bill Pearl Obituary

Bill Pearl was an American professional bodybuilder and athlete. During the 1950s and 60s, he won many titles and awards, including winning the Mr Univers contest five times and was named “World’s Best-Built Man of the Century.

Pearl was born in Prineville, Oregon. While enlisted in the US Navy, stationed at San Diego Naval Air Station, he worked out at Leo Stern’s Gym.

During the 1980s, Peal served as a mentor, trainer and training partner to many of the top professionals that were still competing, including Mr Olympia, and Chris Dickerson.

Pearl was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2016.

On September 14, 2022, it was announced on Pearl’s official Facebook page by his wife Judy that Bill passed away at 4:00 that Bill passed away 4:00 that morning at his home.
