Former NFL linebacker, Bill Laskey has died, the Raiders announced his death on Friday, May 6. He was 79.

Laskey played at the University of Michigan before joining the Bills in 1965. He earned all-star honours as a rookie. During the 1963 and 1964 seasons, Laskey caught nine passes for 118 yards and one touchdown.

Over the course of a ten-year NFL career, Laskey appeared in 119 games. 45 as a starter and had seven interceptions and eight fumble recoveries.
