Bill Burr took his first steps into stand-up comedy at the age of 23 on March 2, 1992. Moving to New York City in 1994, he rapidly gained recognition with appearances on various shows, including Showtime at the Apollo, Comedy Central Presents, and Just for Laughs. Burr’s breakthrough came with his role in Dave Chappelle’s iconic sketch comedy series, “Chappelle’s Show,” in 2004.
