Big Pun was a rapper and songwriter from the United States. Pun’s lyrics are renowned for their technical efficiency, with excellent breath control, extensive use of alliteration, and internal and multi-syllabic rhyming schemes.

He began writing rap songs in the late 1980s. With Lyrical Assassin, Joker Jamz, and Toom, he then created the underground group Full-A-Clips. Rios produced many recordings with the group in the 1990s that were never released.

Rios died on February 7 2000, while staying at a hotel with his family in White Plains, New York. He experienced a heart attack and respiratory failure and was brought to a hospital, where he died at the age of 28 when paramedics were unable to revive him.

At the time of his death, he weighed 698 pounds (317 kg). Rios is survived by his wife, Liza, and their three children, Star, Vanessa, and Christopher Jr.

Rios had struggled with his weight his entire adult life. He weighed 180 pounds (82 kg) when he was 18, and 300 pounds (140 kg) when he was 21. In the early 1990s, his weight varied between obese and severely obese.
