Bevan Rodd, a talented prop player who can also play hooker, is currently under contract with the Sale Sharks. For the first time in 2019, he was a member of England’s U20 Six Nations team.

In the Sale Sharks’ Premiership Rugby Cup match against the defending champion Northampton Saints, he made his team’s debut off the bench and contributed to their 39-18 triumph.

On the 64th minute, Rodd managed to get in on the action, assisting fellow rookie Akker van der Merwe with a try with a ball that received plaudits from the team’s Twitter feed throughout the game.

In the 32-15 victory over the Wallabies, he won his maiden England cap, and after displaying strong play, he was named to the first 36-man England training squad for the 2022 Six Nations Championship.
