Bernhard Langer is a professional golfer from Germany. Following the establishment of the OWGR in 1986, he became the sport’s first official number one ranked player.

Langer is one of only five golfers who have won professional golf tournaments on each of the world’s six continents. He has won on all of the major tours, including the Japan Golf Tour, Asian Tour, Australasian Tour, and Tour de las Américas.

Langer set a new record by winning the Champions Tour’s season-long competition for the sixth time. He’s won 43 times on the senior circuit, as well as three times on the PGA Tour and 40 times on the DP World Tour. He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2002.
Langer won the Masters twice and was one of the best golfers in the world in the 1980s and 1990s and has nine top-10 finishes to his credit.
Since 2007, he has won three times on the PGA Tour and 42 times on the PGA Tour Champions. Langer has won almost 100 races in his career, including 61 international crowns.
