Actor Bernard Cribbins has died at age 93. His agent announced his passing in a statement, which acknowledged his long career and service to children’s television.

The actual cause of his death has not been communicated yet.
Cribbins became well known in the 1960s for novelty records like Right Said Fred and The Hole in The Ground.

His fame grew and he became a household name in the UK for his role on Doctor Who as well as other shows.
Cribbins was given an OBE for services to drama in 2011 and awarded a special award at the British Academy Children’s Awards two years earlier.
A lot of condolence message has been pouring out for the actor since the announcement of his passing.
